Rapper Andre Johnson is now... Penisless

Here's an update on rapper Andre Johnson who made headlines this past April when he cut off his own penis and jumped off a building (read here). He survived that mess but he's now penisless!

Yesterday Andre spoke to E! News exclusively about why he cut off his penis...and how he's living life without it.

"Yes, I was using drugs that night, but I was in complete control. I cut it off because that was the root of all my problems. My solution to the problem was the realization that sex is for mortals, and I am a god...Those kinds of activities got me into trouble, and I came here to be a god."

There were reports that doctors were able to reattach Andre's penis, but he said that isn't true. 

"Doctor's weren't able to repair anything. But, it still gets hard, the little bit that I got. I still got some penis that works. It's not the size of the prize, it's the motion of the ocean. There's no mystery to it, but they couldn't reattach it. A penis is a penis is a penis."

"I wasn't having that much sex up to that point anyways. My days of reproducing are over. But now I'm a reborn man." Continue...

Andre recalls the incident...

"I didn't want to kill myself. That was just my response to the demons. They were doing their best to get to me, but being alive solidified my thoughts...I'm alive, penis or no penis."

"I had a psychologist I was seeing after I was released from hospital but I was quickly okayed after they said I had all my marbles...the lights were on in the attic."

"People perceived me as crazy, so I never wanted to speak wholeheartedly on the matter. But now, in retrospect, the truth must be told."

"Me and RZA (his music label) came to an understanding. I still write music, but I love comedy and we're going to have a Wu-Tang writing team. I'm going to do stand up along with making music."

Second wedding for 9-year-old schoolboy and his 61-year-old wife

Why is it okay for a 61yr old woman to kiss a 9 yr old boy in the mouth all in the name of tradition?

A 9-year-old schoolboy has become one of the world's youngest grooms for the 2nd time, marrying his 62-year-old wife again. Looking a little taller in last year's silvery tuxedo, baby faced Saneie Masilela clutched the hand of Helen Shabangu as they repeated their vows one year on.

Last year the boy, from nearby Tshwane, tied the knot with bride Helen after claiming he had been told by his dead ancestors to wed. Shockingly his family took the message from the heavens seriously and hurriedly forked out £500 for the bride and a further £1,000 for the big day. 

The second marriage ceremony was this time held at the home of the blushing bride in Ximhungwe in Mpumalanga, South Africa, in front of around 100 guests. Wide-eyed residents looked on as the married mother-of-five shared a piece of cake, a toast and even a kiss with her young groom Sanele -  and long-term husband Alfred Shabangu, 66.

Evangelist Ebenezer Obey made Music Professor in OOU

Nigerian music icon, Evangelist Dr. Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi has been made a Professor of Music at the Department of English and Performing Arts, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye Ogun state. In a ceremony held on Monday July 7th at the Otunba Gbenga Daniel Hall of the school, the VC of the School, Professor Sabiru Adesanya, honoured him as a Visiting Artiste in the English Department.

Responding to the honor, Dr. Obey promised to give his new appointment the same attention he gives his music and share his wealth of experience with his students. He used the occasion to donate new sets of musical equipments to the Department of English and Performing Art

Pics: Drug dealer releases haunting video of Angelina Jolie as a drug addict

I don't think anything can hurt Angelina's image at this point, because she's admitted many times in the past that she was a drug addict, describing it as a 'dark' and 'dangerous' period of her life which she was lucky to survive but I have a feeling she won't want her kids to see these photos or the video

The video was released to National Enquirer magazine recently by Angelina Jolie's former drug dealer, Franklin Meyer, who claims he shot it in 1999 after she called him to her to home to re-supply her with heroin and cocaine.

"Angie was a client of mine for several years. I sold her heroin and cocaine. One day she called me up and wanted me to drop by her place. That was her way of telling me she wanted me to bring her drugs. At the time, I had just bought a video camera and decided to bring it along. When I arrived, I just gave her the drugs and then she gave me the money.’

Convicted drug dealer Meyer said he kept filming her as her father, actor Jon Voight, called her to discuss family matters. In the video Angie's eyes are bloodshot, her arms emaciated and scratched, her fingernails dirty...and the room filthy. But all these was 15 years ago, she's gone on to become one of the biggest film stars in the world, involved with one of the hottest men in the world, has 6 kids and is a humanitarian. What a woman! Meyer claimed he would see Angelina Jolie, who at the time was dating actor Billy Bob Thornton, two or three times a week whenever she was New York and she would generally spend around $100 on heroin and cocaine, and would take the drugs in front of him.

Soldiers rampage: Army states own side of the story, flays Soyinka

The Nigerian Army have released a statement explaining their side of what transpired last Friday July 4th where soldiers allegedly beat up some civilians and set some BRT buses ablaze.

The statement signed by Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Lieutenant Colonel Omale Ochagwuba, says contrary to reports, the Lance Corporal killed by the BRT bus was driving on the main road used by other motorists and not on the lane reserved for the BRT buses. It also denied the army officers being responsible for setting some BRT buses on fire. The statement reads in part;

"On July 4, a Lance Corporal of Nigerian Army, who was on his way to the office on Ikorodu Road around Obanikoro area between 6:30 and 6:45am, was knocked down and killed by a BRT bus with number plate KSF 995 XJ. It is pertinent to state here that the late soldier was riding a power bike approved by the state government and he was neither riding inside a BRT lane nor was the BRT bus that killed him driving inside the BRT lane. The innocent law-abiding soldier was killed on the normal lane being plied by everybody as against what is being alleged by some sections of the media. Continue..

The soldier was hit from the rear and killed instantly. As stated earlier in our release, the mayhem visited on the BRT buses was the handiwork of hoodlums who seized the opportunity of the tragic situation to vent their anger on the buses for reasons best known to them. We know the peculiar nature of Lagos where miscreants always take advantage of situations like this to cause havoc. In a situation like this, people are bound to wrongfully accuse soldiers because they were seen around the offending bus which was not even attacked. With careful analysis of the incident, one will observe that the BRT buses vandalised were far removed from the scene of the accident".

"It is pertinent to once more remind the good people of Lagos that the BRT bus in question that killed the soldier and triggered the tragic consequences was neither vandalised nor burnt. It was same soldiers who are being wrongfully accused of burning buses and causing mayhem, which is not true, that secured the BRT bus and protected it from hoodlums before it was later towed into the barracks for safety and also prevented the hoodlums from causing further mayhem on the road and cleared the route for traffic to flow. We have pictures of the bus at the scene of the accident and while it was being towed away to safety. The bus in question has since been released to the BRT management. The question begging for answer now is: why is the bus itself that killed the soldier which was already in soldiers hands not vandalised or burnt? Is it not logical that, it should have been the first target of their anger as alleged? These are hard times for Nigerians and all hands should be on the deck to bring peace to the country rather than inflame passion. The Lagos State Government, which is supposed to be the most aggrieved party, did not jump into conclusions. The Lagos State Government said they are investigating. That is a matured way of handling situation rather than reacting on public opinion.”

The Army also reacted to a statement credited to Nobel Laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka where he was alleged to have said the army was "Mad" while reacting to the Friday July 4th incident

"In a situation where a respected elder statesman will stand up in a public function and based on hear-say call a respected professional organisation like the Nigerian Army which is one of the major pillars of democracy and fighting to keep the country together as mad, is unfortunate and unbecoming. In less than a week, he has made two careless offensive statements. At times, he seems to speak before weighing the consequences of his statement. The Nigerian Army is a professional force which is law-abiding like any other citizen. The military is a highly disciplined organisation which also takes necessary steps to see that its erring members are brought to book at any time the need arises to enforce discipline.”

Photos: LASTMA official allegedly beats motorist to convulsion

A LASTMA official by the name Asorona stopped a car he claimed had violated traffic rules, removed the man from the car and allegedly assaulted him around 7.30 am this morning in front of BRT yard at Ketu bus stop. He and his colleagues also seized the man's car. And before anyone knew what was happening, the young man fell down on the road into convulsion, shaking, according to eye witnesses, like an epileptic patient.
